Podcast To Connect
I’ve mentioned that I’ve been working with the amazing Stephanie Fuccio of Coffeelike Media (
) on a project where the two of us discuss all of the wonderful work she’s been doing to help me with different aspects of Door Key, including marketing. There’s going to be a whole season of her podcast Podcast To Connect about this! I’ll definitely be sharing the episodes with you all when they come out, but for now here’s a link to the first episode:There’s also an audio-only version:

The Princes in the Tower
I hope you’ve had a chance to listen to the episode about The Princes in the Tower by now!
After the death of their father King Edward IV, his sons princes Edward and Richard went into the Tower of London to await Edward’s coronation. Their uncle Richard, who was regent, seized the throne and was crowned King Richard III. The boys were never seen again, and the mystery of what happened to them has fueled questions and theories for hundreds of years. This episode gets into the rapid sequence of events leading to the disappearance of the two princes, and various theories about who might have been responsible for it.

‘The Missing Princes Project’ and John Evans
In The Princes in the Tower episode, I mention that there’s a project called ‘The Missing Princes Project’. In 2021 researchers for this project believe they may have found evidence that Prince Edward lived out his days in the Devon village of Coldridge. They’ve connected the 13-year-old prince with a man named John Evans, who arrived in Coldridge around 1484, and was immediately given an official position and the title of Lord of the Manor. Researchers noted Yorkist symbols, and stained glass windows depicting Edward V in a Coldridge chapel that was commissioned by Evans and built around 1511.
I make it clear in the episode that while I think this makes for a great story and would love for something like this to be what happened, my personal opinion is that this isn’t what happened.
But it is a great story, and I wanted to post pictures of what the researchers for ‘The Missing Princes Project’ found, just so you can see for yourself.
I got those pictures, and all this extra information from the church’s website, which is https://exeter.anglican.org/. According to that website, there are several other clues in the church on the floor tiles and on the roof bosses.
There is also seems to be a family connection to the church: the princes’ half-brother Thomas Grey owned land in Devon, including Coldridge.
