Hello everyone!
The wonderful Stephanie Fuccio of Coffeelike Media and I came up with an idea for an experiment:
I’m sending two Substack posts out with basically the exact same information today - I apologize for that, but I promise it’s for a good reason:
The idea is to provide a deeper look into a topic of Door Key. I’m curious which version you prefer: this version with all the information here on Substack, or the other version I sent out, which has all the same information linked to Instagram … or if you don’t like either one (that’s a valid choice too!).
I’m asking you to please let me know what you prefer via comments, dm, or email me here to let me know.
Thank you so much for indulging me in this experiment today! Depending on the answers I get, I will only be sending one version of this type of post out next time (or, depending on your feedback, no post at all!).
xoxo, April
Here’s all the extra information for the episode about The Stonewall Uprising that I put on Social Media throughout the 2 weeks that the episode was current.
These are in chronological order to The Stonewall Uprising’s story.
Episode summary: The Stonewall Uprising was a series of protests by members of the LGBTQ+ community. These protests were in response to a police raid of the Stonewall Inn in Greenwich Village, New York that started on June 28, 1969.
These protests did get violent, but they were the event that led to the rise of the push for the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, and recognition of those rights.
The Stonewall Uprising inspired the Gay Pride movement, and is a big part of why we celebrate Pride Month every June!
